In December 2024, UNDERFOUND Studio was commissioned by GP Management to provide full content coverage of their hospitality operations during the season finale of the Formula One World Championship in Abu Dhabi.
The brief was clear. Capture the energy, exclusivity, and experience of the hospitality programme while delivering content quickly enough to remain relevant throughout the event itself.
With only a two-person production team on site, the challenge was not simply documenting the event. It was creating a consistent stream of high-quality content capable of serving multiple audiences, from guests and partners to sponsors and internal stakeholders, all within extremely tight turnaround times.

Three days inside the hospitality programme
Over the course of three days, our team embedded themselves within the hospitality environment, documenting every stage of the experience.
From guest arrivals and networking opportunities to premium dining, live entertainment, and race-day excitement, the focus was on capturing the atmosphere that makes Formula One hospitality such a unique experience. Rather than concentrating solely on the race itself, the content was designed to tell the broader story of the event and the value delivered to guests throughout the weekend.
Working in a live event environment
Working within a live event environment requires a different mindset to traditional commercial production.
Moments cannot be recreated. Opportunities appear and disappear within seconds. Success depends on anticipation, adaptability, and the ability to work unobtrusively while remaining ready to capture key interactions as they unfold.
Throughout the event, imagery was edited and delivered daily, allowing GP Management to maintain an active presence across their marketing and communication channels while the event was still taking place.

The output
By the conclusion of the Grand Prix weekend, the project had delivered more than 200 professionally edited photographs alongside a daily highlight film produced for each day of activity.
The combination of photography and video provided a complete visual record of the event, balancing polished brand content with authentic moments that reflected the experience of those in attendance.
Most importantly, every key performance indicator established at the outset of the project was successfully achieved.

The assignment demonstrated our ability to operate within high-pressure environments, deliver premium content at speed, and maintain quality without compromising turnaround times.
